The Nogales Desert Ghosts were a proposed team to join the American West Baseball League in 2013, though the league folded before any games were played. Jolbert Cabrera was set to be the team manager. The team became the Yuma Desert Ghosts in the short-lived proposed independent Western Association of Professional Baseball.
