Biographical Information

Outfielder Noel Abad began his professional career in the Dominican Summer League at 17 years old in 2000, hitting .249 with five homers. He moved stateside to play for the AZL Angels of the Los Angeles Angels system in 2001 and 2002, slashing .293/.344/.397 with 6 stolen bases in 19 games the former year; he fell to .188/.257/.250 in 24 games the latter.
