Biographical Information

Catcher/infielder Nobuo Kato played for the Osaka Tigers in their first two years in the new Japan Baseball League, going 2 for 8 with a walk, two strikeouts, two RBI and four runs in 18 games. He served in the Japanese military during World War II and died in combat.
