Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Noah Zavolas was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 18th round of the 2018 amateur draft, out of Harvard University, where he had been the Ivy League Pitcher of the Year as a senior. He had a good first professional season, split between the Everett AquaSox of the Northwest League and the Modesto Nuts of the California League, going a combined 5-2, 3.03 in 19 games, all in relief. He pitched a total of 38 2/3 innings, giving up 31 hits and 11 walks while striking out 41; he also recorded 2 saves. On December 21st that year, he was included in a major league trade, being sent to the Milwaukee Brewers alongside OF Ben Gamel in return for OF Domingo Santana.
