Nicolas Launay

Nicolas Launay currently (2010) plays the outfield/centerfield for the Cougars de Montigny in Division Elite. He previously played with the club from 2001 until 2007, then joined the Lions de Savigny sur Orge.

In 1999, he was a member of the Champion de France team playing in the N1 division. He was also a member of the French international Juniors team, and studied in the INSEP institute.

Launay hit .164/.280/.195 with 31 runs in 38 games as Savigny's starting center fielder in 2008. In 2009, he batted .231/.384/.346 with 18 runs in 22 games for Montigny for 2009; he went 9-for-9 in steal attempts.
