New York Journal American
The New York Journal American was a newspaper from 1937 to 1966. It was an afternoon newspaper which formed from a merger of the New York Evening Journal and New York American and closed due to lack of advertising. Bill Farnsworth, Charley Feeney and Barney Kremenko wrote for or edited the Journal American.
The Journal American was the main sponsor of the Hearst Sandlot Classic.
