New Jersey Diamonds
The New Jersey Diamonds were an expansion franchise in the Ladies Professional Baseball League in its second season, in 1998. They were based in Augusta, NJ and used the ballpark of the minor league New Jersey Cardinals, Skylands Park. Brock Radaker was the manager, while his wife, former Colorado Silver Bullets Melissa Radaker, was the team's ace. The league folded at the end of July, after teams had played only 16 games of the planned 56-game schedule.
