Biographical Information[edit]
Neville Pratt played in the Claxton Shield eight times for Western Australia, making the All-Star team in 1962. He was on the Australian team for the 1956 Olympics. He worked to build international ties for Australian baseball in the 1970s-1980s, working with Asian, Latin American and European nations. In 1987, he became president of the Australian Baseball Federation and he helped found the Australian Baseball League. He was Vice President of the Asian Baseball Federation and on the board of the International Baseball Federation. In 1993, he helped form the Baseball Confederation of Oceania. Her won the Australian Sports Medal in 2000. He was inducted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame in 2021.
