Biographical Information[edit]
Nelson Céspedes was a member of the Dominican national team for both the 1984 Amateur World Series and 1984 Olympics. In the former event, the right-hander was 0-1 with 7 walks in 5 2/3 innings and 11 hits allowed in 25 at-bats; he gave up 10 runs (8 earned). He had the worst ERA on the Dominican staff.
