Biographical Information[edit]
Neil Szeryk hit .310 for the Oklahoma State team that finished second in the 1990 College World Series. [1] He was on Team Canada for the 1990 Goodwill Games. [2] In the 1990 Baseball World Cup, he batted .133/.222/.167 with one run and two RBI in nine games for Canada, fielding .976 as their starter at first base. [3] At the end of the busy year, though, he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome. [4] Years later, his daughters made the news as golf stars. [5]
