Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Ned Bligh played 4 seasons in the American Association. He played for Troy in 1891. He was a well-known problem off the field, being remembered as being publicly drunk most of the time [citation needed], as well as being accused of illegally fathering a child of a 17-year-old girl [1]. The book Baseball in Columbus has a photo of him and says he died of typhoid fever in 1892.
