National Girls Baseball League

From BR Bullpen

The National Girls Baseball League existed from 1944 to 1953, almost entirely overlapping with its rival, the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Unlike the AAGPBL, the NGBL always used underhand pitching; some AAGPBL stars like Connie Wisniewski jumped to the NGBL when the AAGPBL switched to overhand throwing. Audrey Wagner was another notable AAGPBL player who switched circuits.
