Nathan Blackwood is a college coach.
Blackwood began his coaching career in 1998 as an assistant at Harding University. In 2004, he became head coach of Lubbock Christian University. The school was 53-15 in 2005, 50-17 in 2006, 37-17 in 2007, 53-4 in 2008 (ending the regular season with a #1 ranking in NAIA), 52-8 in 2009 and 46-15 in 2010. Blackwood guided the team to the 2006 NAIA College World Series and 2009 NAIA College World Series, winning it all in 2009, then returning to the Series in 2010.
