Biographical Information[edit]
Nasos Markou has been an outfielder for the Greek club Spartakos. He also has played for the Greek national team. He was 0 for 4 with two strikeouts as the Greek right fielder against Ireland in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers; he had one putout in his only chance in the field. In the 2010 European Championship, he started in center field against Croatia but dropped a fly ball on Croatia's first at-bat to start a 7-error disaster for Greece. In his only at-bat, he fanned against Danijel Levak. He was replaced by Jason Zachos. He got two two at-bats in the 2011 Baseball World Cup, striking out twice. He handled two chances without an error.
