Biographical Information[edit]

Myles Schroder was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 27th round of the 2007 Amateur Draft from Diablo Valley College. He played in the Giants' minor league system from 2011-2018, reaching AAA in both 2016 and 2018. Over eight seasons he hit .258 with an OBP of .316 and slugged .385. Schroder finished his playing career in 2019 with the High Point Rockers of the independent Atlantic League. Schroder was the quintessential utility player who regularly played all eight defensive positions. In his last two seasons he also added pitcher to his repertoire, albeit for only two games.

The Atlanta Braves hired Schroder as a coach for the Augusta GreenJackets in 2021-2022.
