Morris Indian School
The Morris Industrial School for Indians was a residential boarding school for Native Americans located in Morris, MN. It was founded in 1887 by the Roman Catholic Sisters of Mercy, then was run by the Bureau of Indian Affairs until it closed in 1909. Its building then became the West Central School of Agriculture and eventually the University of Minnesota Morris. Charlie Roy went here.
