Biographical Information

Mojuro Tonooka was head coach of Waseda University from 1942 to 1963 and helped to organize the Japan Student Baseball Association in 1946. He is credited with drafting the Student Baseball Charter.

Tonooka was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.
