Biographical Information[edit]
Mitch Markham has been a college coach.
Markham was picked by the New York Yankees in the 58th round of the 1991 amateur draft but did not sign. A third baseman, he played in the Junior College World Series in 1993 then was All-Conference at Stetson University. He coached Eastside High School for 3 years, then was assistant coach at Stetson University for nine (working with Chris Johnson and Brian Bocock as hitting and infield coach). He was also an associate scout in this time. He became head coach of Indian River in 2010. He lasted there until 2016.
