Biographical Information[edit]
Mitch Bailey was a college coach.
Bailey played baseball (infielder), tennis, basketball and football in college. In football, he made All-American and had two interceptions in the 1951 Pythian Bowl. He coached California University's baseball team from 1960-1979, going 282-205 and winning one Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference title. He also taught biology at California for 36 years and was an assistant football coach. In 1996, he was inducted into the university's Hall of Fame. He coached Bruce Dal Canton.
