Miran Brinovec hit .235/.316/.294 for the Slovenian national team in the 1999 European Championship; he had 17 putouts, 2 assists and 2 errors in the outfield. It is unclear if he was related to fellow outfielder Matijaz Brinovec. [1] He was 0 for 2 in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers. [2] Slovenia played in Italy's Serie C that year and he went 3 for 10 with a walk. [3] He later coached for Slovenia in the coed slowpitch European softball championship. [4]
