Miramichi is located in eastern New Brunswick, on the Miramichi River, near its estuary in Miramichi Bay, 90 miles north of Moncton, NB. The city was formed by the amalgamation of a number of neighboring towns, including Chatham, NB. James M. Hill High School is located here.
