Biographical Information[edit]

Ming-Tsun Yin played in the TML and the CPBL and won a Gold Glove in the former.

Yin was signed by the Chianan Luka when they were founded in 1997. He hit .249/.293/.307 in his rookie year, and won the Gold Glove as an outfielder. Yin batted .244/.281/.331 in 1998, and won the Gold Glove again. He didn't hit well in the beginning of 1999, as his batting average was a terrible .199. The Luka traded Yin to the Kaoping Fala for Tsan-Hsin Lin on September. Yin bounced back soon, as he batted a career-best .335/.366/.401 in 2000 season. The elite 2000 season seemed like a fluke for Yin, but the Pingtung native still extended his stable fielding in the next two years. He hit .251/.342/.281 and .258/.301/.311 respectively, and won the Gold Glove in both years. When the two leagues merged in 2003, Yin was assigned to the Macoto Gida. He only recorded a .191/.310/.213 batting line with the Gida, and they released Yin after that season.

Overall, Yin had hit .253/.300/.310 in seven seasons in the TML and the CPBL.
