Biographical Information

Ming-Hsu Wu pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Wu was drafted by the Brother Elephants in the 4th round of the 2012 CPBL Draft, and he had a 4.66 ERA in 21 games in his rookie year. However, he missed the 2014 season due to injuries after pitching 5 1/3 shutout innings. He struggled in the minors in 2015 as his ERA was 11.05 in 21 games, and he was released.

Wu’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 93.8 mph), slider, sinker and curveball.

Overall, Wu was 2-1 with a 3.93 ERA, pitched 34 1/3 innings and struck out 21 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
