Biographical Information[edit]

Milt Retif, a businessman, saved the Tulane baseball program; when they were going to cut the school for financial reasons, he made contributions in 1966 to ensure it was kept as a scholarship program. The next year, he became an unpaid head coach. He was 123-73 from 1967-1974; Steve Mura was his most notable product. He has organized numerous charitable events.
