Biographical Information

Mildred Lundahl served as a chaperone for the Rockford Peaches in 1946 and 1947 . Outside of baseball, she was a schoolteacher and missed a few games at the beginning of the '47 season, with Marion Moran temporarily taking over the chaperone duties until classes ended in June . She taught for 39 years at various schools in Rockford and was apparently a very active member of her church and volunteered at hospitals.

Lundahl was a close friend of Dottie Key, who took care of her in her later years.
