Milan Prokop has played in the Extraliga, as did his father Milan Prokop Sr. It is unclear if he is related to former Extraliga player Richard Prokop.

Milan played for Brno in the 2014 Little League World Series. [1] He debuted in the Extraliga in 2020, hitting .215/.292/.277 for the Třebíč Nuclears. [2] Prokop was 2 for 8 with 2 walks and 5 runs for Draci Brno in the 2021 CEB Cup. He scored the winning run in the 10th against Minsk, coming home on a fly by Martin Kalábek. Draci Brno won the title. [3]

He hit .300/.500/.600 and handled 11 chances error-free in the 2021 U-18 European Championship [4] and was 1 for 4 with a walk, double and 3 runs in the 2021 U-23 European Championship. [5] For Draci Brno that year, he hit .270/.403/.413. [6] He was 3 for 11 with 3 walks, 3 runs and a double in the 2022 European Champions Cup, all three runs coming in a win over Neptunus. He fielded .929 at the hot corner. [7] In the regular season, he hit .240/.321/.480 in limited time then batted .235/.343/.346 in the postseason as Draci Brno won the championship. [8]

Prokop made his debut for the senior Czech team in the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He got into one game, a blowout loss to Spain. Pinch-hitting for Jakub Hajtmar, he grounded out against Fernando Baez. He stayed in at second base and flew out against Yeudy García his other time up. The Czechs rebounded from there and would win a spot in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, their first World Baseball Classic. [9]
