Biographical Information[edit]
The father of Chris Withrow and of Matt Withrow, pitcher Mike Withrow was selected in both the January and June 1979 amateur draft, but did not sign either time. He was again drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 7th round of the 1981 amateur draft. He played three seasons in the White Sox organization, from 1981 to 1983, reaching AA with the Glens Falls White Sox of the Eastern League the last two seasons
