Biographical Information

Mike Venafro played for the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Colorado Rockies from 1999 to 2006. He was a relief pitcher, making 306 relief appearances during his major league career, without a start. He was always a middle reliever, with only five saves over his seven major league seasons.
