Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Tonis played for Greece in the 2004 Olympics. He was listed on the roster as "Michael Koutsantonakis" - his grandfather had shortened the family name to Tonis upon immigrating to the USA in the early 20th Century. He also has played for Greece in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, 2010 European Championship and 2011 Baseball World Cup.
