Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Mike Rozema was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 14th round of the 2004 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Danville Braves, hitting .282 with 2 home runs and 19 RBIs in 49 games. He began the next year with the Rome Braves, where he hit .272 with 30 RBIs and earned a spot on the South Atlantic League mid-season All-Star team before being promoted to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. After beginning 2006 back with the Pelicans, he moved up to the Mississippi Braves after two months. He played at three different levels in 2007, spending most of the year with Mississippi, where he hit .265 with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs in 69 games.
