Mike Rocco (college coach)

Mike Rocco has been a college coach.

A first baseman, Rocco had 221 hits in his career at Bryant University and set the NCAA Division II career and single-season records for put outs. He appeared in the 2004 Division II College World Series and was named Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Year in 2004. In 2005, he played in the NCAA Division II National Championship Game in basketball. Rocco was assistant coach at Daniel Webster College for two years and also was head coach of their cross country team. He became the first head coach at Lesley University, which started its program in 2011. Rocco has also been a teacher's aide at Tewksbury Memorial High School. In 2014, he moved to the head coaching role at Assumption College.
