Biographical Information[edit]

Mike Remlinger allowed only 37 hits and struck out 72 in 55 innings for Team USA in the summer of 1986, though he walked 40. He was 7-2 with a 3.42 ERA and tied Jeff Plympton for the team lead in wins. He was with the US in the 1986 Amateur World Series.

Along with Mark Johnson, he is the only recent major leaguer to come out of Dartmouth College.

He was designated for assignment by the Atlanta Braves on June 24, 2006 bringing his career to an end at age 40.
