Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Mahoski pitched for Team USA and in the minors.
Mahoski was with the US when they won Silver in the 1978 Amateur World Series; he allowed 3 runs in one inning (3 H, BB). He was picked by the San Diego Padres in the 29th round of the 1980 amateur draft, one pick before Gary Green. He was 8-4 with two saves and a 4.13 ERA for the 1980 Walla Walla Padres. He tied for 4th in the Northwest League in wins and tied Ed Vande Berg for 2nd in complete games (7). He went 4-3 with four saves and a 5.25 ERA for the Reno Silver Sox to finish his pro career at 12-7.
