Mike Lord

Mike Lord has been a college coach and a scout.

Lord was pitching coach at Saddleback College in 1981, then was head coach of Westmont College from 1982-1983, going 22-20 with a team that had finished with single-digit wins in 1981. He was later head coach of Claremont College, Palm Beach Atlantic University, San Diego Christian College (2007) and Trevecca Nazarene University (2012). He also was a batting practice pitcher for the San Diego Padres for 9 years and scouted for the Boston Red Sox for 3 years, signing Xander Bogaerts.
