Mike Laird is a college coach.
A high school track, baseball and basketball coach after college, he became head coach at William Penn University in 1983. He took the school to the 2004 NAIA College World Series, the year they won a team-record 48 games. He also has served as athletics director at William Penn University from 1992-2001 and 2003-2007. Through 2023, he was 1,121-643-3.
