Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Kirby has been a college coach.
Kirby was assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton (winning the 1995 College World Series) and Los Angeles City College (1996), then worked in sales for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He was with UNLV in 2008, again at CSUF (2012-2014), then at the University of Nebraska (2014-2019). He was head coach of New Mexico State University from 2020-2023, working with Nick Gonzales among others.
