Biographical Information

Mike Karabin hit .419 as a college senior. He played briefly for the 1978 GCL Cubs, going 0 for 2 with a walk and a strikeout. In two games at catcher, he had two putouts and an assist. He returned to Toledo as assistant coach from 1979-1981, was head coach in 1982 and was assistant coach from 1983-1987. He remained in their athletic department through 2011, retiring as deputy athletic director.
