Biographical Information[edit]

Mike Jordan hit only .096 in 125 at-bats for the 1890 Pittsburg Alleghenys, a team which went 23-113. Jordan's slugging percentage was a breathtaking .104. The team hit .230, and all the regulars (one of which was Billy Sunday) hit at least .200. Jordan was presumably kept on the team for his fielding. He was the fourth outfielder and had a fielding percentage much better than the three regular outfielders.
