Biographical Information

Mike Donovan played shortstop with the 1904 Cleveland Naps and third base with the 1908 New York Highlanders. In all, he was in 7 games, hitting .238 (during the dead-ball era).

Mike was also in the minors for nine years, from 1902-10, and managed in the minors in 1904.

Was accidentally shot by a fellow employee while working as a guard at the Consolidated Edison plant in New York.
