Biographical Information

Mike Diaz led the Pittsburgh Pirates in pinch hits in 1986 with 11. He knocked in 10 pinch hit runs that year too. As a rookie in 1986, he hit one home run every 17.6 at-bats - 4th best in the league.

He was a Pacific Coast League All-Star in 1985.
