Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Cole has been a college coach for over 20 years.
Cole began his coaching career immediately after his college playing career as an assistant at University of Vermont in 2002-2004 and Manhattan College in 2005-2008. He then returned to Vermont for one year, and spent a year as an assistant coach at University of Maine in 2010.
Cole got his first head coaching position at New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2011-2012, taking the school to the Great West Conference tournament both years, finishing 5th in 2011 and 7th in 2012. He was then an assistant coach at Fairfield University in 2013-2017. He got his next head coaching opportunity at Manhattan College from 2018-2022. The school finished 3rd in the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament and also competed in the MAAC tournament in 2021. Cole then became an assistant coach at United States Military Academy in 2023.
