Mikael Boström

Mikael Boström has played in the Elitserien. He was 3-3 with a 5.14 ERA in 2004 for the Rättvik Butchers, the first season for which statistics are available online (as of August 2009). He did not play in the Elitserien in 2005-2006. In 2007, he hit .236/.289/.236 for Gefle and went 2-9 with a 5.38 ERA. He led the league in losses.
During 2008, Boström slumped to .156/.252/.186 and posted a 3-9, 7.77 record for Gefle. He gave up a .344 opponent average and led the league with 144 hits allowed. He played every position except catcher that season.
Mikael was on Sweden's preliminary 40-man roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
