Biographical Information[edit]
Miguel Pérez was an outfielder on the Puerto Rican national team that won the 1951 Amateur World Series, their only global baseball title (through 2023). He hit over .300 every season in Puerto Rico's amateur leagues, with a career mark around .325. He worked as a police officer and in youth baseball development.
