Biographical Information[edit]
Miguel Pérez was on the Panamanian national team that won Gold in the 1997 Central American Games. He was also with them in the 2002 Intercontinental Cup. He had a 7.20 ERA and one save in three games; he saved Jorge Cortes's win over Mexico. [1] Panama won Bronze but lost their medal after four players tested positive for banned substances. [2] For his career in Panama's amateur leagues, he was 50-34. Through 2024, he was tied for 15th all-time in wins, with Alvaro Hernandez. He was 12th with 596 K. [3]
