Biographical Information[edit]
Miguel Ojeda caught for the Mexican national team in the 1999 Pan American Games. The team just missed qualifying for the 2000 Olympics. He hit .238/.304/.524 in the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament as Mexico again just missed an Olympic spot. He homered for their only run against South Korea, facing Kwang-hyun Kim. In the 2009 World Baseball Classic, he was Mexico's main catcher, going 2 for 14 with 2 walks, 3 runs and a double. He owned the Durango Generales during 2018.
