Miguel Adames
Miguel Adames pitched for the Dominican national team in the 1982 Amateur World Series (2-0, 2.50, tied for 4th in wins) and 1982 Central American and Caribbean Games. They won the Central American and Caribbean Games Gold Medal in baseball for the second time, having won it 20 years prior; they would not win again until 2010. It was even more impressive as the 1982 Games were held in Havana, home of the powerhouse Cuban national team.
