Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Stefanic struck out in all three of his plate appearances in his major league debut for the Los Angeles Angels against the Houston Astros on July 3, 2022. He wasn't alone in his predicament as four Houston pitchers combined to strike out 20 batters in the game, a 4-2 Astros win, tying the club record for a nine-inning game. Stefanic started the game at second base, batting 6th. He wa signed by the Angels as an undrafted free agent after graduating from Westmont College in 2018.
