Michael Kruger
Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Kruger was the shortstop for the South African national team in the 1995 Intercontinental Cup. He did very well offensively, going 9 for 21 with two doubles, a homer and 7 RBI, leading South Africa in both hits and RBI. He was less sharp with the glove, fielding .885. He had three hits apiece against Mexico and Italy, the latter game being the lone South African win.
