Biographical Information

Michael Dempsey played for the South African national team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. In his only game, he pinch-hit for Brett Willemburg with a 10-3 deficit against Spain in the bottom of the 8th. He grounded out against Jose Cruz then stayed in to play left for the 9th.
