Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Michael Dabbs played in the Philadelphia Phillies system from 2009 to 2011. He was initially drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 38th round of the 2006 amateur draft, but chose not to sign. He was then taken by the Phillies in the 17th round of the 2009 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Tyler Cravy. He was signed by scout Paul Scott. In his three-year career, Dabbs slashed .255/.307/.367 with 8 home runs, 53 RBI and 23 stolen bases in 564 at-bats over 162 games; he stole as many as 13 bases in a season. He peaked at High-A and retired on August 17, 2011.
